This course teaches you effective ways to capture the most important information within a text. You'll begin with an assessment that gauges your current ability to respond to questions about a technical passage. Then, you'll dive into best practices such as the SQ3R reading strategy, how to identify key components within a text, and how to effectively draw conclusions. You also will discover ways to connect to the text so as to establish deeper meaning, and eventually, how to apply the reading methods to working with math.
